The Enterprise Architecture awards are presented in conjunction with the Federated Enterprise Architecture Certification Institute (FEAC). 

Honorees are current or past government employees recognized for stellar implementation and management of EA best practices that improved government operations with greater efficiency to directly support mission outcomes.

In addition to the awards for Leadership in Enterprise Architecture Driven Results and Leadership in Government Transformation Using EA, nominations for the EA Hall of Fame were open to past and present government employees who demonstrated individual leadership in EA practice, promotion, and professionalization and moved the EA discipline forward.

Winners of the 2009 Enterprise Architecture Awards are:

Leadership in Enterprise Architecture Driven Results Award:

    • General Accountability Office, GAO Enterprise Architecture Program
    • Kansas Department of Corrections, Strategic Technical Architecture Roadmap (STAR)
    • Air Force Communications Agency, Air Force Information Technology Infrastructure Architecture (AF Constellation Net)

     

Leadership in Government Transformation Using EA Award:

    • The US Department of Housing and Urban Development, Acquisition Management Business Modernization Plan IRS Filing and Compliance
    • DoD Business Transformation Agency, Standard Financial Information Structure and Business Capability Lifecycle Using the Business Enterprise Architecture

2009 Inductees into the Enterprise Architecture Hall of Fame are:

John Teeter, Deputy Chief Information Officer, Dept. of Health and Human services

Thomas Lucas, Director, Enterprise Architecture, Internal Revenue Services
